EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

* Failed every subject in high school.

SPORTING BACKGROUND

* Age champion in every high school sport including track and field, swimming, cross country, diving and gymnastics. Represented in every high school team sport including rugby league, rugby union, basketball, tennis, soccer and cricket.

* Multiple state titles, state records, as well as being a national medallist, in the Pole Vault. State medallist in the decathlon. Represented at state / national level in other track and field events, surf life saving competitions, rugby league, rugby union and in diving.

* Twice Australia's Toughest Cop Alive placing 3rd in the world. Police olympic gold medallist in Pole Vault, 400m hurdles and decathlon. Police Olympic medallist in various track and field events, swimming events, obstacle course, body building and rodeo.

* Surf life saving Ironman marathon competitor. Multiple Ironman triathlon competitor. Oxfam 100km trailwalker competitor.

* Triathlon performances include placing 7th in the National Sprint Titles, 49th in the Olympic Distance World Championships, and 6th overall in the Ultraman World Championships.

* Finisher and 13th placing the Decatriathlon World Championships which consists of a 38km swim, 1800km ride and a 422km run.

* 2nd place in the National 24 hour track running championships achieving 184km with the 24 hour period.

* 18th place in the Cliff Young 6 Day race with a distance of 470km.

* Adventure based performances include riding a World Ranked bull in Colorado, surfing the north shore of Hawaii, free climbing 200 feet in Texas, riding across Alaska, running with the bulls and doing the Leap of Faith in Pamplona, bungee jumping, sky diving, skiing off cliffs and much more..

EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND

* 1984 to 1987: Various jobs including that of a motorbike courier, insurance clerk, storeman and managing a ladies fashion shoe store.

* 1987 to 1994: Member of the NSW Police Service.

* 1994 to 2002: Intermittent employment with Centrelink between 10 international trips / holidays.

* 2002 to current: Business owner.

FUTURE OBJECTIVES

* Overcome perceived failures in my high school education.

* Create a successful business to launch a variety of philosophical ventures. It's time to make an impact.

* Retire in my rainforest cabin as a writer.

CURRENT SITUATION

* In 2002, and after 8 years of international travel, I had nothing but my bike, my guitar and a $20,000 debt. I dreamed of having a house and a yacht, but everyone said I was a pennyless bum and would amount to nothing. I decided to get a hair cut and get a real job. I got work in a gym and applied for a home loan but got rejected. Then after several more rejections I started to apply some of the confidence, that most sportsmen have, to the world of business. Within 3 years my current situation includes:

* Managing Director of Hyperplasia Pty Ltd providing management of Corporate Fitness Centres and trades as 'FIT AUSSIE' providing fitness solutions to the the world. The underlying purpose of this company is to impact upon the obesity epidemic. Soon many more business variables will be launched, then on the back of them, more social projects.

* Primary investor in Australian Capital Securities (Mortgage brokerage company).

* Owner of houses in Cairns, Charters Towers, two in Dubbo and a residential block of land; owner of two units in Mannering Park; and owner of 5 acres of National Rain Forest in the Atherton Tablelands.

* Owner of a 35 foot yacht.

REGARDING MY PERCIEVED HIGH SCHOOL FAILURES

* Despite failing english I have since written two fictional novels, a diet and health book, as well as an autobiography called 'Going the extra mile'.

* Despite failing geography I have traveled the world over 12 times and have seen more of the world than most geography teachers.

* Despite failing music I have since written a CD of over 12 songs (yet to be published).

* Despite failing biology I have changed my body from a fast twitch / power based athlete, to a world class ultra distance athlete.

* Despite failing maths - who cares, I pay an accountant very well to count my money for me!
